EFSA workshop on reevaluation of food additives – 24 November 2017

Under Regulation EC 1333/2008, the safety of all food additives authorised for use in the EU prior to 20 January 2009 must be re-evaluated by EFSA by 2020.

EFSA invites to attend a workshop in Parma where participants will have opportunity to share their views and make suggestions on how to strengthen scientific cooperation and engagement with EFSA for this re-evaluation. It will be an occasion to better understand the follow-up activities resulting from certain safety concerns or data gaps identified in an assessment.
