According to a study published in Nature Communications, examining many different scenarios, the conversion to an organic agriculture on a global world scale makes possible to limit the environmental impact of food production but by some aspects only. Complementary measures such as reducing animal production and waste are necessary to move towards a sustainable food model during the 21st century.
