The consultation was opened until the 3 September. You can find the draft guidance under consultation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.efsa.europa.eu\/en\/consultations\/call\/170712\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>An update of its 2011 advice on the risks for human and animal health from <strong>pyrrolizidine alkaloids<\/strong>, a large group of toxins produced by different plant species that can unintentionally enter the food chain. The EFSA\u2019s experts concluded that exposure to pyrrolizidine alkaloids in food, in particular for frequent and high consumers of tea and herbal infusions, is a possible long-term concern for human health due to their potential carcinogenicity. Find the statement from EFSA on the risks <a href=\"http:\/\/www.efsa.europa.eu\/en\/efsajournal\/pub\/4908\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Definition of <strong>dietary reference values for riboflavin (vitamin B2)<\/strong> as an update of the values established by the Scientific Committee for Food in 1993. As part of its review of scientific advice on nutrient intakes the EFSA\u2019s experts has set <a href=\"http:\/\/www.efsa.europa.eu\/en\/efsajournal\/pub\/4919\" target=\"_blank\">dietary reference values for riboflavin for all populations<\/a>.
