Pour cela, il \u00e9tablit sa propre d\u00e9finition d&#8217;un <strong>nanomat\u00e9riau manufactur\u00e9<\/strong> : \u00ab c\u2019est un mat\u00e9riau de nature organique, inorganique ou composite, produit par l\u2019Homme \u00e0 des fins applicatives et compos\u00e9 en tout ou partie de particules constitutives pr\u00e9sentant au moins une dimension comprise entre 1 et 100 nm (nano-\u00e9chelle). Les dimensions des particules constitutives peuvent \u00eatre sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 100 nm si ces derni\u00e8res pr\u00e9sentent une surface sp\u00e9cifique importante ou des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s propres \u00e0 la nano-\u00e9chelle. Les particules constitutives peuvent se retrouver sous la forme d\u2019agr\u00e9gats ou d\u2019agglom\u00e9rats dont les dimensions peuvent \u00eatre largement sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 la nano-\u00e9chelle. Les mat\u00e9riaux pour lesquels la fraction nanom\u00e9trique n\u2019aurait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 produite intentionnellement au cours des processus de fabrication rentrent dans le cadre de cette qualification \u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">En France, depuis 2013, la d\u00e9claration des substances \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat de nanoparticules est obligatoire sur le registre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.r-nano.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">R-Nano<\/a>. N\u00e9anmoins, l\u2019identification et la tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9 des nanomat\u00e9riaux restent encore tr\u00e8s limit\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">A partir de donn\u00e9es publi\u00e9es dans la litt\u00e9rature scientifique, l\u2019Agence a r\u00e9f\u00e9renc\u00e9 <strong>7 substances<\/strong>, utilis\u00e9es en tant qu\u2019additifs ou ingr\u00e9dients alimentaires et pour lesquelles elle consid\u00e8re que <strong>la pr\u00e9sence de nanoparticules est av\u00e9r\u00e9e<\/strong> (le carbonate de calcium, le dioxyde de titane, des oxydes et hydroxydes de fer, le silicate de calcium, les phosphates tricalciques, les silices amorphes synth\u00e9tiques, des compos\u00e9s organiques et composites) <strong>et 30 substances o\u00f9 la pr\u00e9sence de nanomat\u00e9riaux est suspect\u00e9e <\/strong>(l\u2019aluminium, l\u2019argent, l\u2019or, le phosphates de magn\u00e9sium, le citrate d&#8217;ammonium ferrique, les sels de sodium, de potassium et de calcium d\u2019acides gras, etc.).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">D\u2019apr\u00e8s les bases de donn\u00e9es de l\u2019alimentation (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oqali.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oqali<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gnpd.com\/sinatra\/anonymous_frontpage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GNPD<\/a>), pr\u00e8s de <strong>900 produits<\/strong> <strong>alimentaires int\u00e8grent au moins un additif ou un ingr\u00e9dient <\/strong>r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 la classification \u00ab\u00a0<strong>substances pour lesquelles la pr\u00e9sence de nanomat\u00e9riaux manufactur\u00e9s est av\u00e9r\u00e9e<\/strong> \u00bb. Cependant, cela ne peut \u00eatre assimil\u00e9 \u00e0 une pr\u00e9sence de nanomat\u00e9riaux dans chaque produit ou lot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">Les sous-secteurs alimentaires les plus concern\u00e9s seraient le lait infantile (25,6%), les confiseries (15,6%), les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales du petit d\u00e9jeuner (14,8%), les barres c\u00e9r\u00e9ali\u00e8res (12,9%), les viennoiseries et desserts surgel\u00e9s (10,9%). A noter que cette estimation a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e avant la suspension du E171 en France.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">Suite \u00e0 la publication par l\u2019EFSA d\u2019un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.efsa.europa.eu\/fr\/efsajournal\/pub\/2140\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">guide relatif \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9valuation des dossiers portant sur des applications en nanosciences ou nanotechnologies<\/a>, l\u2019Anses consid\u00e8re une approche adapt\u00e9e qui permet d\u2019opter pour l\u2019\u00e9valuation du risque (ou standard ou nano sp\u00e9cifique) la mieux adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 la <strong>substance manufactur\u00e9e<\/strong>.
