Indeed, consumers can participate to the test of an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that will help countries across the WHO European Region to effectively monitor and regulate the promotion of harmful products from tobacco and alcohol to foods high in salt, trans fats and sugars \u2013 and to monitor the marketing of breastmilk substitutes and foods for infants and young children.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This new tool enables consumers to upload images which they think contain:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unhealthy foods\/drinks,<\/li>\n<li>alcohol,<\/li>\n<li>cigarettes\/novel tobacco products such as vaping devices,<\/li>\n<li>any milks that are specifically marketed for feeding infants and young children up to the age of 3 years, including infant and follow-up formulas and drinks for young children (often referred to as growing-up or toddler milks).<\/li>\n<li>Any other product marketed or otherwise represented as suitable for feeding infants up to the age of 6 months, as anything fed to a baby before the age of 6 months, including water, will replace breastmilk.<\/li>\n<li>Feeding bottles and teats.<\/li>\n<li>Commercially produced foods that are marketed as being suitable for infants and young children from the age of 6 months to 36 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"upload%20images%20which%20you%20think%20contain:\">This new online tool<\/a> developed by the WHO Europe gives the opportunity to consumers to counter some \u201caggressive\u201d marketing approaches of unhealthy products and breastmilk substitutes and foods for infants and young children that can hinder the development of breast feeding.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Orchidali can help your company in <a href=\"https:\/\/science-nutrition.com\/en\/dossier-reglementaire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">improving food quality<\/a>.<\/em><\/strong>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WHO\/Europe is calling upon consumers to become a part of a project aimed at creating a healthier society.
