This free webinar organized by the FI Webinar series will take place tuesday 9 april from 11am to 12.30pm.

According to the Good Food Institute (GFI), in 2022 the plant-based meat, fish and seafood retail industry generated $6.1 billion in global sales, growing eight percent by dollars and five percent by weight. Combined plant-based milk, cheese, and yoghurt hit $21.6 billion on the global stage, up seven percent from 2021. Plant-based milks continue to drive the sector, with maturing technologies like precision fermentation enabling innovation in plant-based dairy and meat alternatives.

This webinar will introduce the key issues surrounding the plant-based market including:

  • Plant-based proteins,
  • Hybrids,
  • Consumer demand and market positioning,
  • Innovation in nutrition, taste, and texture.

This event is settled in 2 sessions, the first one is the presentations of the 2 speackers (Elsa Guadarrama, ProVeg International & Emma Schofield, Mintel) and the second one is a Q/A session with the participants and the speakers.
