The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) published a new guidance for industry entitled “The Declaration of Certain Isolated or Synthetic Non-Digestible Carbohydrates as Dietary Fiber on Nutrition and Supplement Facts Labels; Guidance for Industry.” This guidance highlighted eight specific, additional isolated or synthetic non-digestible carbohydrates.
